Student-Athletes
Grades are held to the highest importance for athletes. It is a privilege to play school sports and students must put their
education first to ensure academic success. MS - 2.0 gpa / No 2 D’s / No 1 F at the time of grade checks and no disciplinary issues at any time. Elementary - 2 U’s at grade check/ No disciplinary issues at any time.
Ineligibility
Ineligibility results in suspension during a two week period. Middle school students must go to practice and do
homework during practice time without participation in team activities for two weeks. Students who fail to abide by these terms will be dismissed from the team. Eligibility carries over from school year to year (Spring 22 grades effect Fall 22 eligibility). Three missed eligibility checks will result in loss of eligibility for the school year. If discipline is behavior related, then students can’t come to practice or games until the two week period is over. More than one write up will result in dismissal from sports for that season. Eligibility applies for elementary and middle school students.

Some of our sports are offered through Tiger Training Center, a ministry of Tower Grove Church. The sports offered through this ministry are sports that may not have gained enough interest through the school alone to create full teams, so Tower Grove Church created a ministry of club teams. They are not TGCA teams, but they are open to our students at TGCA and all athletes in St. Louis. These teams are still coached by Christian men and women who believe in instilling a Christ-like sportsmanship in the athletes of St. Louis while giving these students the skills necessary to be competitive.
